Blog entry 2
So, it’s Week 4 already… how did that happen?!?
So, I left week 3 with the task of developing my radio package pitch and having to read Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare. I had already started both. Whilst I was waiting for the EGM for Tea Appreciation Society, which I am the PRO for, I wrote my first blog post and began Act 1, Scene 2.
Over the rest of the weekend I used chunks of time to read more so I have gotten to Scene 5, which seems to be almost as long as Scenes 1-4 put together!
Monday of Week 4 was a bit quiet as I only had English. This because my LAB for this class and my English tutorial are only on every odd week (3,5,7 etc). However, by the time the English lecture was over, my partner was waiting for me in the Students Union.
He helps me a lot with motivation and course work. Mostly because he is very interested in the course. He was supposed to do it a few years ago but couldn’t due to other commitments. I find it to be a shame as he seems to have even more interest and understanding for it than I do. It’s always nice to have someone to help or bounce ideas off. He’s won writing awards in school, so I feel confident when getting his help. I’ve been out of education for some time so it’s very reassuring having the extra vote of confidence in my writing.
We didn’t get to have our Sub-Editing class this week, which actually, pissed me off. I don’t particularly like the class itself, it’s more that I have no clue what’s going on and we have an assessment coming up. I even needed Xan to help me understand the tiniest bit.
Hopefully we will get a lot done in the 2 classes before the assessment and I will pass it!
